Chapter 33. Camping Trip (3)
“Better luck next time.” She pushed Emma off her.
William walked out with Davies’s team’s flag and the flag holder, Jonathan, and Sheila followed right after him.
“Bye, better luck next time,” Queen said with unbridled hostility.
They got to the general campsite, only to be met by cheers and applause, both teams put on a good show but one team was just higher when it came to using their brains.
Davies forced himself to smile, deep down he was hurting. a lot had happened in months, Queen moving out of the house, his mum and her mum scolding him for what he’d done, and his friendship with Jonathan ending. He was jealous that he wasn’t her mate.
During this camping trip, he’s been trying every way possible to get close to her, but it wasn’t possible with William always having her under his watch like a mother bird, it pricked him that he wasn’t half of what William was.
