Chapter 43. War (2)
He brought out his gun, holding it with his other hand and his knife on the other he held it out, scanning the area.
A rustling sound was heard, and he turned in fear. ‘Graham, keep it together, nothing scares you.’ he told himself. He walked around in circles, watching his flank, rear and his front.
A shadow passed by, and the leaves rustled. Graham turned in another direction out of fear, suddenly he felt someone’s breath on the nape of his neck. “Who’s there?” he shouted out, firing a bullet in the distance.
“Queen don’t be a coward, show yourself, face me!” he was tired of this game.
Queen didn’t show herself, she was seated on top of a tree branch, she made an illusion to lure Graham deeper into the woods and he fell for it, chasing the shadow.
Queen alerted her mother through the pack link, giving them navigation on where they should meet up.
