Chapter 45. War (4)

Queen clenched her jaw, she wanted to give him a good beating with every fiber of her being, but she lay still on the ground, she calmed herself constantly with a breathing exercise. She didn’t want to jeopardize this with her anger. She silently packed mud in her hands, without making body movement.

Graham got to her, he lifted her from the collar of her shirt with one hand, when Queen suddenly opened her eyes, “Surprise oldie.” She put mud in both of his eyes. Graham faltered, trying to clean out his eyes, as she escaped him.

There were no rules for fighting in this one, anyone could use any underhanded method to get their message across and that didn’t exempt Mud. The playground wasn’t a fair playing one sadly.

Jace and William already started clashing, and when the others took the cue, the place came more alive with fire and flames going up everywhere. Esmee kept scanning the area for Jace, hoping to get her revenge, after what had happened at home.
