Liam reacts first, shoving the closest of his family behind him as he bares his teeth, his entire body coiled and ready to fight.

Koen does the same, stepping in front of Iris as his stance shifts low and lethal. I keep tucked against Liam’s side, my entire body tensing as the enforcers slowly come to a stop in front of us.
