Riley
After the game, when he’d had a fight on the field with Ethan, Riley returned home in an angry mood. The apartment was empty as he kicked his door in and stormed into his room. He thought of the argument they’d had at the game. No one talked back to him as the Ace, and he wasn’t used to it. He exhaled loudly, then dove under the covers of his bed to hide from the world. He was consumed with thoughts of Ethan’s angry face, his unfriendly countenance, and his aggressive body language as he called Riley out on his temper tantrum. There were things about Ethan that stuck out in Riley’s mind–his silky chocolate brown hair that framed his face–either soft and clean wisps or plastered to his forehead during a sweaty session of practice.
