When she discovered it was her husband, Francis Angel, she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

“What are you doing here?” she inquired, astonished.

“I thought I told you not to follow me until I contacted you.” She goes on as she opens the door for him and closes it after him.

“I know, honey,” Francis answers as he shows her luggage with papers and a laptop.

Francis approaches the youngster and introduces himself, and he is taken aback by the boy’s warm welcome.

“Do you recognize me?” He asks for minimal blame, and the boy simply nods his head in satisfaction before sprinting over to Lauren. and commenting about Francis Angel.

Lauren chuckles when she hears the boy’s lovely, innocent voice. “Grandma, Mom’s dad is quite frightening,” Lauren says.

“Francis, don’t you think this boy is cute?” She says this while sitting on the stool and giving him his favorite car toy.
