At that moment, Matthew was not going to accept Mahlon’s disrespect.
“At the very least, you should be grateful to me for giving you life and for your information; I am not leaving,” he stated as he walked out of Mahlon’s study.
He couldn’t believe Mahlon had invited him over to insult him, but now was not the time to be sorry; he had done everything he could for his well-being, but all he got in return was insults.
He took the keys from Bruno and remarked, “Your boss will give you one of his cars to use; I know my way out,” before leaving the villa.
Mahlon was stunned, but he knew the man was correct, and he would never allow him to win him over.
He descends the stairs and discovers Bruno seated and perplexed.
“How long have you been here?” As soon as he came closer, he asked him.
“I didn’t bring my car,” he said, gazing at his boss, who was going to shove him, but he stopped himself.
