Chapter 29
He watched her back at the far end of the room, suddenly looking like a demoness, confident allure with every movement of her body. She wasn't the girl who had left Don's room just now. This woman, whoever she was, was different.
"So whom are the papers for Ma'am?"
She turned to him, a dark smile on her beautiful lips "for an old friend. An ex. My sister's groom, a family friend." Her laughter echoed in the room. "he is a lot of things. Even a liar and a cheat."
"Are you okay, ma'am?" He was about to reach for her when she raised a finger.
"I'm fine. Very good. Okay, at the prospect of what's to come, because it will be interesting. Luca," the fire in her eyes lowered, and she tipped her head to the side so innocently, "I just need you to help me."
He nodded, stepping forward, his hands resting against his zipper. "I'm all at your service, ma'am. Anything you want me to do?"
"A lot of things"
