"Julie, we've set everything up and your fans are just outside. All that's left is for you to take your seat and the signing will commence." My young assistant helped pull out my chair for my signing.
"How many are they? Were you able to estimate?" I asked her as I took my seat.
"A lot, but less than yesterday's crowd." My assistant smiled.
I groaned tiredly, "I haven't slept well in days. No one told me having people like your book will be this stressful." I voiced out my thoughts.
"You should be happy. It's a good thing. Your first book ever gained so much attention." Pearl tried to comfort me. I love her for this. And yet the agency wonders why I picked someone around my age to be my assistant.
