“It shouldn’t. It makes sense that the count starts tomorrow… right?”

“Yeah, makes sense.” Cain smiled and Liana lost it. All she wanted at the moment was to kiss him till she was out of breath, and she was sure he wanted the same thing with the way his eyes casually left hers to look at her lips every now and then.

She could kiss him, but she was scared he wouldn’t kiss her back again so she waited to know if he’d kiss her but he didn’t. He just cleared his throat and inhaled deeply to break the silence.

“I’ll go lock up the place with Jay and come pick you up. Wait here.” He told her before going back.

Liana groaned in disbelief after he left. He wanted her, that she was sure of and she was just right in front of him. Why wouldn’t he just take her?
