Chapter 32
The prospect’s hands shook as he fumbled his phone out. He dialed Cain. No answer came so he dialed again. And again. Three times and still no answer.
“Come on… come on…” he whispered, voice breaking. He tried again but it just rang through every time.
Another crash echoed through the house. He flinched, pressing himself further into the shadows. He was a coward, he knew it. He couldn’t face all of them the way Jay just did but it didn’t matter at the moment. He wasn’t stepping out there.

3:02 a.m.
The place went quiet again, as quiet as it was before the intruders arrived. The Razor Wolves were gone now, along with all the money stacked in the warehouse. Jerry had watched them leave without being able to stop them and though he had called Vic after calling Cain so many times, he didn’t think they would even see the Razor wolves on their way here by the time they arrived.
The prospect stayed still for another full minute before he finally move
