He stopped and glanced at the camera to see who it was. Liana. Liana? His heartbeat became irregular as he panicked without knowing why. He rushed back to keep the gun but only ended up putting out his smoke before she rang the bell again so he went to the door and took a quick deep breath before opening it.
He opened the door intending he could end it quickly; whatever she was here for. He was going to push her away, maybe act cold or say something that’ll make her annoyed enough to leave. ‘It’s for both our good,’ he reminded himself.
