Chapter 50
Liana cried out in frustration when Keith held her back, pulling on Cain’s big shirt to bring her closer to him before seizing her. He forced both her wrist behind her back and chuckled.
“My my, does Cain Marlowe have good taste,” He said, amused but she just blinked to stop the tears in her eyes from coming as they were blurring her vision and not helping at the moment.
“Tie her up so we can get this over with,” Alan picked up the rope and brought it to Keith.
Liana exhaled shakily, thinking of what next to do to help herself. She immediately remembered her father shaking his head in disappointment whenever she flopped at a martial arts class or missed the bullseye on a shooting range.
He used to have her caretaker take her to self-defense courses in case one of his enemies got her, and though they never did, this was her first real danger moment where she had to defend herself, by herself.
