“No, they just arrived. Do what you got to do and get out of there quickly. They’ve already caught on to the false alarm.” Jerry told Alan on the phone.

“You don’t understand. We can’t find it. That’s the problem. And there’s a girl here, we were gonna get information on the safe from her but she’s passed out now. You know who she is?” Alan asked.

“Describe her?”

Alan had started to describe Liana but Jerry was no longer listening. Cain had placed his hand calmly on his shoulder when he joined him where he stood and he panicked. He shivered with fear of being caught by Cain but Cain just thought he was cold.

“You okay?” Cain asked him and he nodded, breath shaky. “Vic said you were drunk and driving past here when you called us. Who let you leave the clubhouse this drunk?”

“I swear, they were just there. I saw them and…”

Cain chuckled, shaking his head. “He’s so drunk, he can’t even understand what I’m saying!” He told the others and they all laug
