“No,” He answered after reading that, not knowing how he was planning to fill up those parts of the form.

“No?” The doctor cast her very suspicious eyes and on him through her glasses, having caught sight of the form where he had written Liana’s full name.

“No,” He answered again.

“Family then? Are you a relative?”

“Doctor, is she okay?” He asked after her question. That was just all he needed to know at the moment.

“Well, we noticed some very, very rough bruises on the patient amongst other injuries, and more so the concussion in her head seemed to have stemmed from a pointy object, it left her bleeding internally… Are you listening to me?” She paused to ask when she noticed he fazed out.

“Is she okay?” He repeated what he wanted to know and she sighed.

“Yes, she currently is. But we’re going to be running some tests on her to know if she has any underlying illness that could hinder any of the medications we plan to continue with.”
