Chapter 39. Obstacles

“Be in me?” I asked.

“Yeah like I could be in your car and you could maybe drop me off at my location,” He corrected.

“Was that a sexual joke?” I asked him.

“No, it wasn’t,” He stressed.

“You’re lying,” I said.

“Well you didn’t get it when I said so and no it wasn’t a sexual joke, I just spent a lot of money getting here so I need you to drop me at the train station and I can go home,” He said to me.

I stared at him still thinking about his comments but there was no need to think about, why was I thinking about it, he said it was not a sexual joke so I didn’t have to think it was.

“What train station?” I asked him.

“Anyone we find,” He said.

“Wait! Why do I have to offer you a ride, weren’t you about to walk off?” I asked him.

“That was in the past, let’s go find your driver,” He said and put his hand over my shoulder, and led me to my car.

He opened the door and I got in, he got in after me and closed the door.
