Chapter 40. The Suit
“Apa,” I called out.
“No,” he replied.
“You can’t possibly expect me to be home all day,” I whined.
“Then you can come to the law firm with your mom and me,” he suggested.
“You haven’t let me come to the firm since I graduated,” I told him.
“You have visited the firm multiple times and I know you can remember,” he said.
“I have plans, I can’t go to the firm and I can’t be at home,” I explained to Dad.
“You will have to cancel those plans, your only options are to come to the firm or stay at home,” he said.
“Why?” I asked him.
“I will not be stating my reasons to you,” He said.
“Fine, I will come to the firm” I agreed.
“We can’t wait for you, get dressed and your driver will bring you to the firm,” he said.
I nodded and went back to my room.
