Chapter 41. Fashion Sense
“Don’t you want a very expensive piece you could sell off of when the contract is over?” I asked him.
“You aren’t very convincing,” he said.
“Just go in, will you?” I pleaded and pushed him past the racks of clothes. I turned to a chair and sat on it.
“Mei,” I heard my name and froze, that was Dad, ‘I needed to get out of here’.
“Mei,” Dad yelled.
“Mei,” He called out again.
“Appa,” I said and stood up. I walked towards the entrance and let Dad follow me out of the building.
“Appa,” I said.
“Mei Xing, why are you here?” he asked me.
“What do you mean? I can go anywhere I want to,” I said.
“This is a men’s store and I asked you to be at the firm not here,” He said.
“I was left alone with nothing to do, I thought that was you telling me that I was no longer needed,” I said.
“Now I am here to take you back to the firm,” He said.
“Am I needed?” I asked.
“You’ll find out when we get to the firm,” He said
