Mira’s POV

I’ve been sitting on my laptop, trying to calculate everything Lizzy had said recently. Was she correct? Does this imply that a vampire lives among us?

I unlocked my laptop while going on a web search and looking all about vampires. I came across one article that said: “Vampires are supernatural creatures and live among some humans.” It also said, “A vampire cannot remain in daylight, and they are afraid of silver and garlic.”

If vampires are afraid of such things, why did Lizzy say so early that the vampire came to her? Oh, I forgot it was nighttime.

I kept looking for anything to disprove the existence of vampires among us.

“But it doesn’t make sense because I’ve known Lizzy for as long as I can remember, and she can’t even hurt a fly, so how can she be the one to murder Mrs. Tina?”
