Chapter 15

Lizzy’s POV

I woke up the next day feeling so stressed out. I looked around and saw the clock that was placed on the wall, and it said 8:00 am on the dot. I couldn’t believe I had slept for so long.

I noticed Mira was not in bed, and that got my heart beating. I hurried out of the room and into the hall. I didn’t know where Mira was. She should be lying down and resting by now, or… No, I don’t think he will do that, won’t he?

I searched everywhere as if I was going crazy. What if Mira was taken by another vampire? What do you think they will do to her?

I quickly rushed outside, and just as I looked around, I found myself feeling down a bit. Mira was sitting with other patients as they all laughed and talked.

I exhaled a heavy breath that I had been holding for so long. “Gosh, what a relief.”

Just as I was standing, I felt as if someone was standing behind me, and immediately I turned around, only to meet with Mr. Vampire.

“You know, c
