Chapter 12

Liam’s POV

I was furious, but I had to keep my anger to myself. She may be a bit upset that I used her friend, but it was only to save her. I get pissed off whenever I see that girl bothering her!

I walked out of the hospital to see Andrew waiting for me with my car to take me home. Then he bowed down, showing respect, and opened the door for me to enter as he turned to the driver’s side and got into the car.

Just thinking about all the worries she had been suffering made me feel sad. Before the car drove away, I looked at the hospital one last time and thought, “What will I do to make her love me?”

Arriving home, I stepped out of my car and walked into my mansion so I could rest and forget the events of the day.

I felt a strange smell wafting into my room. I knew whom that smell belonged to, and I hoped it wasn’t whom I thought it would be.

I walked right into my room only to see Cara, my former fiancée, lying on my bed and smiling at me.<
