Chapter 6

Lizzy’s POV

I felt his hands move around my waist while his lips moved softly around mine.

Was this something I was supposed to do? I didn’t even know him, and yet I was reacting to his touch. I couldn’t control myself. It felt like I wasn’t in control anymore, as if my body was responding to him at all times.

“You taste good, my wife,” he said between kisses before he pulled away and looked at me. “Let’s go in so you can freshen up, okay?”

I nodded, feeling sad for him as he drew away. I wanted him more. He drove right into the gate before walking out and closing it.

I noticed the street was deserted, as if everyone had gone to bed. Is that why no one knew a vampire lived here? I wondered.

He opened the car door for where I was fitted and extended his hand for me to take. I waited a second before reaching out to him and exiting the car as he shut the door.

“Well, welcome home, love, and soon, you will be a part of me.”
