OLIVIA

I woke up on the other side of the bed feeling empty, a sign that Ethan had already left for work. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I noticed a neatly folded note placed on the bedside table. I picked it up and read it:

“The moment you see this, head downstairs, have your breakfast, and smile at how wonderful you were last night; I’ll try not to stay too long at the office. I’ll call Tia over to come keep you some company, and you’re to see Dr. Adams today, I promise I’ll be at the next check-up. Love Ethan.”

A smile spread across my face as I read his words. Picking up the second note, I read:

“And lunch as well; thanks for making me go to work late, Olivia Stone. Didn’t know you had it in you.”

My cheeks ached from the constant smiling. He was so cute and superb in bed.
