Watching her sleep had become my new favorite thing to do, and I was happy she was back in my arms. I didn’t know how long I could keep up with the silent treatment.

Tucking the strand of hair that fell on her face while she was asleep, she stirred in her sleep before her eyes opened slowly, a smile crept onto her face. Suddenly, she ran out of bed and straight for the bathroom, I followed behind as she emptied her belly, she threw up endlessly, as I held her hair up rubbing her back.

Rinsing her mouth, we walked back into the room, making sure she sat in a comfortable position.

“How are you feeling?” I asked.

“Not so good,” she said, to which I could tell, she didn’t look so good either.

“I’ll get dressed and we’ll go see Dr. Adams.”
