I could feel the tightened corset straps on my skin as she helped me get ready.

“I… don’t think I can breathe,” I said with much struggle as she held onto the straps.

“Sorry, ma’am… I’ll loosen it,” she said, loosening it so I could breathe properly.

“What’s this event all about though?” I asked, since I didn’t know anything about what was happening.

“It’s an award ceremony for the CEO. The board members will be present, as well as his rivals,” she stated.

“All done,” she heaved.

It was finally finished. I took one more look at the excellent makeup and work she had done, with the dark red outfit.

“Thank you so much… you’ve done a lot for me today,” I said, noticing my hair that fell below my shoulders, adjusting the length and checking to see the sides of my makeup had been blended right.
