“Hailey!” I called out to her as she laid on the ground immobile.

“Come back here you coward!” Ashley yelled, throwing a stone in the direction of the car.

“It’s all my fault!” I yelled, teary eyed as I crouched down over her body, blood dripping from her head.

“Hello.. we’re in need of an ambulance” Ashley said on her phone.

For the past hours, I haven’t even been able to do anything but act disorganized and out of place, whereby Ashley had gone on autopilot in my place.
