The days were drawing nearer to the deadline I had given to Clawride Pack but my mind was elsewhere. Since the events at the library, I had not come across PP69 again. On more than one occasion, I was tempted to scatter some books in there so that someone would have to come arrange them, hopefully her. However, I did not because firstly, it would be childish and secondly, someone else might be assigned and it would make it all for nothing.

I sulked for weeks, hiding my new discovery from Mars and Matilda. My old caregiver was worried about me but chose not to bother me with questions. I would crack when I was ready but I preferred to have at least one secret from her. She knew me too well and it was weird sometimes.

When it was a week to my deadline, I contacted the guards I had left behind in Clawride Pack for updates on their search.
