The witch’s cruel laugh followed with every strike, and she answered Rhia’s attack with darkness. Black tendrils ripped out of the shadows, curled quickly around her limbs and held tightly.

Rhiannon could feel them draining her energy quickly and the ground beneath her feet was already decaying fast.

The tendrils didn’t just reach her, but some warriors around were trying to flee. The moment it touched them, they instantly turned into dust.

Rhiannon roared, straining till the tendrils snapped around her. Lightning came down as answers to her fury, blasting into the shadows where the black tendrils were whipping out from.
