Chapter 52. CRACCK

A massive paw struck Killian’s Jaw, sending him spiraling toward the wall again.

With a powerful growl, Elijah lunged and his massive jaws locked and plunged deep into Killian’s shoulders. His teeth sank deeply into his flesh, gripping harshly on his bones.

Killian howled in pain, thrashing and gnawing against Elijah, trying to summon another spell that would rip Elijah off him.

But Elijah only bit harder, lifting Killian off the ground. Still having a bit of his senses, Elijah knew fighting here, in this sacred room, wasn’t right, and he needed to get Killian out of here before more precious ancient items were destroyed.

And so, he leapt upward.

His massive back smashed against the cave ceiling and everything else that stood in his path. He ripped through the structure with one leap, tearing through steel and stones, through bricks and everything else that lay in the dense path that went up all the way.
