“I know you’re here,” Eleanor’s voice came, low and calm, slicing through the thick fog, “You reek of desperation and betrayal, Rhia. How could you do this to us? To your own Pack?”
Rhiannon flinched and the two warriors exchanged a silent glance.
Rhiannon badly wanted to trust the lake’s magic, that it was enough to deter Eleanor so she wouldn’t find them. But Eleanor isn’t just your regular wolf, and so Rhiannon gripped Amelia even tighter, her hands hanging loosely around her waist.
