William’s POV
I was irritated. Nathaniel was becoming a thorn in my flesh. He had stopped the deal that I was pushing with Lucien. A deal that was supposed to produce a fortune in profits. What the fuck was wrong with him?
And to think he went ahead to do all that without even consulting with me first. I had been notified about the situation with Lucien, but it wasn’t anything serious. It wasn’t the first time Lucien had been careless enough to get caught by the government officials.
These government officials were like puppets in our hands anyway. The entire country was supported by the Alastors. There was no way those toothless security officers could have done anything to Lucien or our business.
I knew for a fact that Nathaniel didn’t feel threatened. He just wanted to prove to me that he could get away with whatever he wanted.
