Felicity's POV 

“Why can't you answer the damn question!” I yelled hitting the table.

The mayor sat there looking at me like I was going crazy. He didn't even give a damn about what I felt.

“It's best you leave..I have important matters to attend to and if you can't deal with it you know what to do Felicity Stone.” He stated, then stood up as he walked out of his office leaving the both of us unattended and confused.

“He definitely had something….he is hiding from us.” I said, trying to follow him when Isklander pulled me back.

“What do you think you're doing?” He asked with an irritated look on his face.

“Going after him of course. You can't blame me, I just want to know the truth, that's all.” I told him.

“And put yourself in the spotlight. For once can you stop acting irrational..it wouldn't help.” He said, I picked an offense in what he just said even though he was right, it hurt to see that he wasn't even giving it much thought.
