Felicity's POV 

Joseph pulled me closer, noticing my unease.

 "Hey, what’s wrong?" he asked softly, full of concern in his voice. I had to think for a moment before I could say anything. 

"I just feel like Isklander’s out there somewhere watching me," I finally managed to answer. Joseph’s expression turned serious. 

"We will get him, Felicity. We’ll make sure he pays for what he did," he said. I nodded as a sense of determination washed over me. I was done being a victim, I was done being afraid.I realized then that it was a choice for me to make. 

Was it possible for me let myself remain defined by Isklander’s actions alone or did it depend on whether I rose up above them? Was it really an option to be dominated by fear or confront it head on? And at that point in time, having already thought on through it all before hand, there still remained no other option than meeting with Iskander ultimately.
