My jaw was tightly clenched and arms folded across my chest within me stood firm.

“I’m not telling you anything” I said looking Joseph straight into the eyes like an arrow aiming at its target. Joseph had a serious look on his face.

“Grace, we know that you are hiding something from us; there is evidence which shows that Bianca’s life is in danger and we require your assistance in locating her.” I shook my head saying

“But no way would I say anything about what happened.” The officers drew nearer with their hands on their cuffs; one of them said,

“Ma’am we will have to take you in for questioning.” I moved backwards, heart pounding.

“You can’t make me talk,” I attempted to sound as calm as possible although it was fake bravery sending shivers all over my spine. Joseph narrowed his eyes at me saying

“We cannot force you to talk but we can lock you for obstructing justice.” That made it clear that there are some consequence
