Ziad stopped his steps as he looked at the desperate teenager. Among everyone he faced that night, he was without a shadow of a doubt the youngest.
The reasons that would lead a person to join a group of adventurers were diverse, from lack of money to the search for popularity and honor.
Analyzing the young man in front of him, Ziad would bet on the first option. His clothes were patched in several spots, and old bruises and scars were visible on his hands. Probably from the heavy work and dangers he did in the past.
