Chapter 35. Shocking News

Bridgette was now widely-awakened because of her best friend’s husband and his attitude. She really couldn’t believe what he just said now.

But she didn’t have the energy to argue so she opened the door for him.

“Good morning to you, too, by the way,” she sarcastically greeted him as he walked into the door.

“My bad. Where’s my wife?” his face was serious, but the dark circles under his eyes were so obvious.

“Your sleeping beauty was sleeping on the couch. But be careful, she’s drunk. You won’t probably like to wake her up for a while, she drank a lot,” she explained while yawning.

Tyler walked to where she was right now, and there she saw her sleeping hugging the baseball bat in her arms.

When Bridgette saw it, she laughed, “Goodness, she really didn’t outgrow her drinking habit. She’s hilarious at times,” she added.

“Was she always like that?” Tyler got curious and finally began a proper conversation with her.

“I guess yes, the docto
