Jessica had made herself a full lunch. The house help saw her cooking; she even offered to make something for them, which Roselle declined.

After her filling lunch, she went ahead and placed the items she bought into the side of the closet that Xavier had cleared out for her.

She had gone to a thrift store and gotten the clothes she needed. She wished she had a little extra money so she wouldn’t have to use her husband’s unlimited card.

Although what she spent was not much, she still felt bad and decided to transfer the money back to him as soon as she started working again.

She had used her savings to furnish Burke’s house because she thought she would be living there after the wedding.

She wanted to get her money back from him since he had cheated on her, but she was afraid she would embarrass hers
