Chapter 147

Jessica pushed Xavier away and bent her head in shame. His secretary had walked in on them. She wished for the ground to open up and swallow her whole. She waited for the girl to retreat.

"I am sorry sir, I forgot that your wife was here," she said going back and closing the door behind her.

"I better be on my way then," Jessica said standing up and looking around in a haste. 

"Leaving already?" 

"Your secretary just caught us trying to kiss," she said in a whisper as she put her face close to his. 

"And so? I can't kiss my wife?" he asked and she felt herself blush so hard. She raised her head and cleared her throat. 

"At the office? No. I am sure that by now the whole office knows what has happened here" she said. 

"Let them know, who cares? That way no lady can approach me"
