Chapter 149

"Then why do you constantly try to make me feel like I have done such a thing? Since we took the pregnancy test last week and it came out negative you have been avoiding doing all the things we do together. Is it my fault I am unable to get pregnant?" she ranted as tears streamed down her face. 

They had visited the hospital and the doctor had assured them that there was nothing wrong with the both of them. The Doctor told them to keep trying and that they could get lucky. 

"Okay, I admit it. I was a little disappointed" Brian replied. "But not at you" he added immediately when he saw the expression on her face. 

"Then at who?" 

"At nobody, I was just disappointed that we would not get to have a baby soon. I was disappointed that it was taking more time than we had anticipated. I was just disappointed in myself. I saw you in such great pain but there was nothing I could do to help stop it" he said.
