Chapter 27

Since Jessica was excited to be sharing her meals with others, her body clock made her wake up at five a.m. She was going to prepare a full-course breakfast for her husband that day.

Although their circumstances were not normal, Jessica was going to do her best to make lemonade out of the unripe lemons that life had thrown her way.

The house staff was shocked to see her come out to prepare breakfast.

“Good morning, Roselle,” Jessica greeted the middle-aged woman.

Roselle had been stern and annoying toward Jessica about how they addressed each other. She insisted that Jessica call her by her first name, which made Jessica quite uncomfortable, and Jessica still went ahead and addressed her as “young lady.” If only this woman knew that she and Xavier were planning to sign a contract that would make them go their separate ways that day
