As she walked along the garden path, her thoughts wandered. Little did she know, Everett had been watching her, his footsteps silent as he followed her into the garden. Seeing her lost in thought, he softly called out, “Grace.”
The name sent a shock through her. She had been going by the name Faith for months now. Grace turned around, her eyes wide with surprise and fear, tears pooling at the corners. Her heart raced. She almost exposed herself in front of him. Little did she know she already exposed herself.
