Chapter 7
With the remaining strength that Mate had, he accelerated his running legs and continued running until Alpha’s presence was invisible.
“It seems that we are already far from the damn wolf!” said Mate after stopping his footsteps and stopping under a big tree.
Mate laid me down and treated the wound that was on my leg with a leaf that he had chewed with his teeth. Sometimes it seems like my feet are sweating. He seemed so sincere about helping me.
“Hopefully, the wound dries quickly. For a while, we rest here,” said Mate with a breathless sigh.
Mate sat leaning against the tree right next to me.
“Oh, my god! This place is just like when I came out of that magic door,” says Mate all of a sudden.
“What? The magic door?” I asked with a frown.
“Yes, I was able to get here because I passed through a magical door, or rather, a mysterious black halo. I don’t remember very clearly because it was so brief until I was suddenly in this place,” Mate said
