Chapter 19
After taking a long, warm shower and changing into his joggers, Murat went to lay in his bed, trying to get some sleep. Despite the riches of the world, there was still something missing in his life. Unable to pinpoint it, he turned to the side, attempting to surround himself with the warmth he desired.
Despite the tough facade he lived in, Murat wanted to be embraced, wanted someone to listen to him, but he was too stubborn to admit those things to even himself. After his mother’s treachery, commitment and love went out of the window.
Draping the duvet around his body, he let the darkness take over him as he got lost in oblivion.
