Chapter 27
Murat’s POV
I am Murat Yildiz Khan, the person who saw his family withering away day by day. I saw my once bright eyes start getting hollow; there wasn’t the same brightness in them. The happiness that adorned my once young and fresh face, the heartiness that decorated my features, was fading. My father wasn’t the same person either; it was as if someone had sucked the life out of his body.
Wasn’t it true that person was none other than my mother? I started getting concerned for my father, but he shrugged it off, saying that he was growing old. I refused to believe that. How can you grow ten years older within the span of three years?
