Chapter 20
Mir burst through the door, almost tripping, hearing the angry call of his boss.
“Boss?” Mir inquired, looking at his boss, perplexed, trying to figure out his fault.
“What is this wall clock doing here?” Murat sneered, his face clenched in anger as he pointed towards the wall.
Mir’s expression turned into a frown, wondering what was wrong with the harmless clock.
“The previous one wasn’t working, so I replaced it with a new one,” Mir explained.
Murat gripped the edge of his desk, trying to calm his breathing rate.
“I don’t want anything of this color in my office or near me, ever. Do you get it?” He enunciated each word with deadly calmness this time.
Mir nodded, getting the message, though still confused about the ordeal. He gestured to a worker, who immediately removed the clock before both of them exited the office.
