Chapter 190
Fifteen minutes passed.
When Amir and Rania walked back onto the terrace, their expressions weren’t the ones Murat had been hoping for. Their faces were tight, tense, something was wrong.
His heartbeat spiked.
“We looked everywhere in the hotel,” Amir exhaled, running a hand through his hair. “She isn’t around.”
Murat pushed back his chair so forcefully that it scraped against the wooden floor.
“Maybe she went for a walk?” Zohreh suggested, but the nervousness in her tone gave away that she wasn’t sure of her own words.
Without wasting another second, Murat pulled out his phone, dialing the head of security. “Is Ayleen outside?” His voice was sharp, demanding.
The response on the other end made his blood run cold.
“No, sir. We haven’t seen Madam Khan leave the hotel grounds.”
Murat’s jaw clenched.
Panic settled like a stone in his stomach.
“Find her,” he ordered, his voice shaking with restrained fury. “Right now.”
