Chapter 72

“What happened to you?” Even Lily today asked her for the first time in a human way, seeing her condition.

She was looking like someone who got looted somewhere and got home by jogging away from the burglars.

Ayleen shook her head and sprinted towards her cupboard, pushing aside her books and taking out a bottle of pills which was specifically prescribed for high pulse, anxiety and panic attacks.

The anti-depressant she was made to take by the doctors after having entered in the Khan Estate, hell in other words.

Opening up the bottle she gulped two pills with shaky hands and chugged down a whole glass of water. Her body was still quivering and pain was surfacing in every inch of her muscle.

Within minutes the burning pain and shivering started to subside. Her hazy vision got clearer and she was able to breathe normally again.
