Chapter 29. Under Attack!

“Sons of bitches!” Becky exclaimed with her eyes fixed on the screen.

They were surrounded by four Sulacos at each corner. They couldn’t navigate right or left, not even speed up or turn back. The Sulacos had them surrounded, and the only option they had was to do as they had said.

The attack didn’t cease. The four Sulacos continued to shoot at them non-stop, causing their Sulaco to jerk and vibrate rapidly. Even with the Sulaco’s shields on, they could feel the impact.

“What do we do now?” Jimmy cast a side-long gaze at Becky, but nothing came to mind.

Becky pondered for a while and finally opened her mouth to speak. “We’re not letting them in. I say we fight back.”

“How?” Jimmy gaped with mixed feelings. “We’re outnumbered!”

“Yes, we’re outnumbered, but that doesn’t mean we should stand down,” Becky said with a trace of courage in her voice. “If they’re shooting at us, I say we shoot back.”
