Chapter 51. Outgame

It’s dawn already. The birds are singing their early morning songs as usual. General Lux led Rufus into the armory. Team Jimmy just reached an agreement with Team Lux to work together. The first step of their joint force is to invade the troopers’ camp loyal to General Ail and steal the portal device.

Jimmy and Becky were asked to stay back in the camp to make sure they didn’t break their deal. He never liked the idea. Becky had to spend all night trying to convince him. “We need them,” she told him. “We will do all it takes to get this done!” she added.

Rufus stared in total amazement at seeing different kinds of lethal weapons and some orb-looking objects he had no idea what they are meant for.

Since his career as a cop, he has never seen such an armory; it's quite clear that General Lux has a better armory than the entire States of America.
