Chapter 52. Suit up!

Rufus was still skeptical about the present task. General Lux walked away from the armory without saying a word again, leaving them both to pick their chosen weapon and proceed to the task at hand.

Rufus glances at Bella surprisingly. “This will be a hell of a mission.”

“That’s why you need to gear up real fast.”

“This is insane!” Rufus cried out. “A suicide mission!”

“There’s nothing to worry about, you and I can handle this. Just grab any weapon of your choice and don’t forget to get a side arm.”

Rufus nodded his head in total acceptance but ignored Bella’s instruction. He made his way to the shelf where lethal weapons were kept and picked different kinds of weapons that shoot fireballs. He strapped it around him, moved to the orb-looking object shelf, and picked two of them. He glanced at Bella, who was still making her pick, “I am good to go!” he said.
